Who we are

botsbrief.com is the home of BotsBrief, a free WordPress plugin, and is operated by Suganthan Mohanadasan.

What we collect

This is an informational website. We do not offer accounts, logins, or a newsletter here, and we do not ask you for your name, email, or any personal details. When you visit, we collect limited, privacy-friendly analytics:

• Pages viewed and basic actions such as clicks
• Approximate location (country or city level)
• Device and browser information
• Referrer and campaign source, including UTM parameters

Why we collect it

To understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it. That is the only purpose.

Legal basis

We process this analytics data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

Analytics provider

We use Rybbit, a privacy-focused analytics tool we run on our own server in Finland (EU). It is cookieless, does not follow you across other websites, and does not collect directly identifying information for standard analytics. The data stays on infrastructure we control within the EU.

About the plugin

The BotsBrief plugin runs entirely on your own WordPress site. It reads your published content to build a bundle and serve it at /okf/. It makes no external calls and sends nothing back to us or any third party. Anything it generates stays on your server. Downloading or using the plugin does not share your site's data with us.

Downloads and hosting

This site is served through Cloudflare. When you load a page or download the plugin, standard server and CDN logs (such as IP address and request details) may be processed by our host to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

International transfers

Some providers use global infrastructure, so data may be processed outside the UAE. Our analytics runs on a server in the EU.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is stored on our EU server, does not identify you directly, and can be deleted on request.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we may hold, and you can ask questions about this policy. Contact us using the details below.

Cookies

Our analytics is cookieless and sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set limited cookies for security and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
